Puglia Cheese Fior di Latte is a classic fresh cow's milk mozzarella produced by hand in Somerset West, made from 100% South African milk using the traditional Italian pasta filata technique. The curds are hand-spun in hot water until they achieve the characteristic smooth, elastic texture of authentic mozzarella, then formed into individual balls and packed fresh. The result is a clean, milky, lightly salted cheese with a soft, yielding texture and a delicate freshness that sets it apart from the firmer, lower-moisture mozzarella formats used in baking and pizza applications.
